Dear Leslie,
Phil and I woke up today with huge smiles on our faces and greeted a beautiful sunrise over the cove, which we thought was a fitting way of celebrating our one year anniversary of owning our coastal Maine home. We owe a large part of our dream coming true to your incredible dedication, perseverance, and wealth of knowledge which resulted in the sale of our 300 year old home in Westford - not an easy sale by any stretch of the imagination.

While we knew immediately that we wanted you to be our realtor based on your specific expertise in antique homes and the town of Westford, we were unaware of some of your other traits and talents. Your interior decorating background provided us with a built in staging guru, and your communication style allowed your advice to be delivered in a clear, direct way that was all about helping us to sell our house. We appreciated your honesty, even when it meant packing up one of our "beloved" objects. You also guided us through the roller coaster experience of realty with a steady hand, the word unflappable comes to mind, although I do recall one moment when you had to remind the radon fellow about the laws regarding where to locate the machine...but your sense of humor gave us all a good chuckle, which was a welcome and common occurrence throughout our selling experience.

When Phil and I try to understand how you do what you do in such a competitive and emotionally charged business, we have decided that it is your integrity which guides you and keeps you sane - and this provided us with the best experience that any homeowner could ask for when selling their home of 20 years. I'm not sure every homeowner could honestly say they miss phone conversations with their realtors, or having them pop by, but we both agree that the only  downside of selling our house and moving away to Maine is that we do, really do, miss working with you.

So, we thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, and we want you to know that we think of you often, and sincerely extend an invitation to come visit us in Mid-Coast Maine sometime when you can sneak away.
